1 Beautiful hand painted oyster dish with flower garlands, on certains dishes there’s also a small flower on the center and marked on bottom.
Very romantic design and exquisite quality.
An excellent addition to any collection!
In white glazed porcelain made by the Fuisseaux de Baudour factory in Henegouwen.

Dinnerware for oysters is rare and comes from a very early period.

In the territory of the commune of Baudour, near Belgian Mons, several ceramic factories were created during the 19th and 20th centuries. In August 1842 François-Joseph Declercq established a manufacture in a building of an old pottery. François-Joseph Declercq is thought to work before for famous porcelain factories of Meissen and Sevres.

Three years later Declercq joined forces with a lawyer Nicolas De Fuisseaux. In 1848 management of this fast developing company took over Nicolas De Fuisseaux. He led the Manufacture de Porcelaine de Baudour till his death in 1857. His widow widow Eléonore Messine took over management for 25 years. After her death (1881) the company was managed by youngest son, Fernand.

In 1898, the name changed and took the form: "Société Anonyme des Anciennes Mills of Fuisseaux". Fernand de Fuisseaux died in 1912. He was suceeded by his son in
law, Charles Greyson.

After the First World War the company was bought by the Société Anonyme des Pavillons and in 1934 the Belgian Ceramic Society "Cérabel" took over the direction of the Baudour factory. In 1977, Cerabel being on the verge of bankruptcy ceased production of tableware porcelain"

If the tracking information for your package confirms the package has been "delivered" but you have not received it, please contact us to arrange a replacement package. In order to qualify for a replacement, you will need to file a missing mail report with the shipping provider , as well as a police report. Proof of BOTH reports must be provided to us before a replacement will be sent out.

Shipping Delays

Our shop is not responsable for any delay on arrival dates from your parcel, from the post office or another carrier.
Please inspect and report any damages within 3 days of receipt. Please keep all packaging should there be an issue.

Returns and exchange details

I do not accept returns based on size issues. Contact me within 2 days of delivery if there is some other issue with your order.

If we agree that there is a reason for a return, we require that it be posted promptly following our convo. If the item is returned beyond one week following our convo, a re-stocking fee of 20% will be deducted. This amount will increase by 10% for each successive week.

The item must be returned by Post with tracking number with all of its ORIGINAL PACKAGING including any bubble wrap, gift bag or box, insured for its purchased price, and must be received in the SAME CONDITION as when it was shipped to you and not altered in any way. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible

Gift wrapping and packaging

I try to use recycled and eco-friendly packaging as much as possible, while still keeping your product safe and intact during shipping. In the case that your fragile item needs more protection, I make sure to use 100% biodegradable packing peanuts.
